כמה מילים...

גולשים יקרים,

השבוע יתקיים כינוס השלוחים העולמי של חב"ד בניו יורק, שם אפגוש גם את חבריי לספסל הלימודים. היינו קבוצת חברים שלמדנו יחד בישיבה. יצאנו לשליחות - אחד מאיתנו נסע לויטנאם, השני לדרום קוריאה, השלישי לסין... רק אני נחתתי איכשהו בצ'רי היל שבניו ג'רזי. ג'ובניק, מה?

מדהים לחשוב על המסירות של החברים שלי שנמצאים במקומות נידחים כל-כך. לגור במקום בו כמעט ואין יהודים, ואם מתחשק לכם שוקולד כשר... חכו עד שהקונטיינר עם האוכל הכשר יגיע עוד כמה חודשים. אין ספק שברכותיו של הרבי מליובאוויטש זצ"ל מלוות את כל שלוחיו, וכי רוח השליחות בה הם חדורים כל-כך עוזרת להם לצלוח את הרגעים הקשים ביותר.

אבל הנה משהו שחשוב לדעת. 'שליחות' לא קשורה למקום גיאוגרפי או לסוג מסויים של אנשים. כדי להיות שליח, אין צורך אפילו להיות חבדני"ק או חבדניקי"ת! השליחות היא לעשות את העולם למקום טוב יותר, למקום של שלימות והרמוניה, לעידן של ימות המשיח. כל אחד מאיתנו יכול לעשות זאת: עוד מצווה, עוד מעשה טוב, עוד עזרה לזולת והחלום שלנו יתגשם במהרה, אמן.

ידידים יקרים,

בפרספקטיבה היסטורית, אנחנו בקושי גרגיר חול קטן. כל אחד מאיתנו הוא רק אחד מתוך שבע מיליארד (מעודכן להשבוע) ותוחלת החיים שלנו היא מקסימום מאה עשרים שנה... ועם זאת, אנחנו אמורים לשנות את העולם, להפוך אותו למקום טוב יותר. האם זו משימה בלתי אפשרית?

שבוע שעבר קראתי על פטירה של אדם אחד שהיה נהג הסעות בבית ספר מסויים. הוא לא היה איש עסקים מצליח או ממציא בתחום ההייטק. לחילופין, הוא לא היה רב או אפילו מורה; הוא היה נהג הסעות שהיה אוסף את הילדים מביתם בבוקר ומחזיר אותם אחר הצהריים. הוא עשה זאת במשך עשרים שנה ונפטר לאחר מחלה ממושכת, לא עלינו.

קראתי את התגובות אונליין על פטירתו. "משה, כמה תהיה חסר לנו" כתב מישהו. "לעולם לא אשכח את החיוך בו היית מקבל את פניי כשעליתי לאוטובוס"; "הוא תמיד היה מחכה לילד שלי, אף פעם לא צעק גם כשאיחרנו קצת, ולא פיספס אפילו 'בוקר טוב' אחד" כתבה אימא אחרת. והתגובות לא הפסיקו לזרום.

וואו. נהג הסעות, לכאורה מקצוע טכני חסר כל השפעה. אבל אותו משה ניצל את העבודה שלו כדי להביא אור וחיוך לילדים. והילדים האלה יזכרו זאת לנצח.

בכל סיטואציה בה אתם נמצאים, יש לכם השפעה. אתם יכולים לשנות את העולם שסביבכם, להביא אור אמיתי לאנשים שנמצאים בחייכם והם בתורם ימשיכו את המעגל. אל תגידו 'מי אני', תגידו 'יש לי את הכוח'.

שוב העיניים  				נשואות ללוב והפעם לטריפולי. ידו של מי תגבר? האם המורדים יצליחו  				להשלים את המהפכה? 				והאם אכן לתושבי לוב מצפה עתיד טוב יותר תחת  				השלטון החדש?
אותי מסקרן במיוחד לדעת האם סוף-סוף יוכלו היהודים יוצאי לוב לשוב לבקר בארץ  				מולדתם, לראות את בתי הכנסת בהם התפללו הוריהם ולפקוד את קברי  				זקניהם?
באתר 				מרכז מורשת יהדות לוב  				מצאתי את הסיפור המעניין הבא:
"מרדכי חדד, נגר  				בדרנה, קיבל עליו לשפץ את בית הכנסת במקום: לחדש את החלונות, לתקן  				את הריהוט והכלים. הכל, שלא על מנת לקבל פרס. עבד הנגר במסירות  				ובנאמנות, וסירב לעזוב את עבודתו אפילו בלילות, כי היה מעדיף לישון  				בעליית הגג של בית הכנסת.


"פעם באישון לילה, הרגיש מרדכי הנגר בגנב שבא לגנוב את תכשיטי  				ה"זגייר" מתוך ה"היכל". רק שם 				הגנב את ידו על פתח ארון הקודש,  				מייד נשתתקה. רק אחרי שהגנב נשבע בקול תחנונים ובכי, כי ישוב מדרכו  				הרעה ולא ישלח יותר ידו בגניבה, שבה ידו לאיתנה.

"המוסלמים, שגם הם מאמינים בקדושת ספר-התורה הזעיר, שומרים עליו  				ומתייחסים אליו בכבוד ובהערצה".



"בישראל נוהגים יוצאי דרנה ולוב לערוך מדי שנה, בראש חודש אלול,  				הילולא גדולה לכבוד ספר-התורה המקודש, שנמצא כיום בנתניה."

סיפור מעניין, לא?  				זהו רק סיפור אחד מתוך מורשת מפוארת של יהדות לוב; עוד רכיב בפסיפס  				ההיסטורי היפהפה של עם ישראל, בו כולנו נותנים חלק פעיל.
